Exercise and its' benefits is nothing more than common sense when it comes to anti-aging and staying young. A sedentary life style is a major cause of muscle deterioration as well as skin tone and oxidative damage.
Exercise can increase oxygen utilization from 10 to 20 times over the resting state. This can greatly increase the generation of free radicals (here we go again), prompting concern about enhanced damage to muscles and other tissues. The question that arises is, how effectively can we defend against the increased free radicals resulting from exercise? Do we need to take extra antioxidants?
With proper and diet and exercise the answer is, probably not, depending on your lifestyle. However there are some powerful supplements available to protect against free radical damage. Here is some more info
However, research has indicated that regular physical exercise enhances the antioxidant defense system and protects against exercise induced free radical damage. This is an important finding because it shows how smart the body is about adapting to the demands of exercise. As we age we tend to exercise less but exercise is essential in maintaining a healthy heart and vitality. The less we exercise the lazier we tend to get. When we get into our 50's, 60's or older exercise becomes very important. It doesn't have to be strenuous exercise. Some excellent low impact exercise techniques are Tai-chi, Yoga, Swimming, bike riding, stretching and a simple 30 minute daily walk. A combination of a healthy diet and exercise can make a big difference in staying young.

**Note from the author: I am not a doctor, a medical researcher or an expert in the field of anti-aging. The information on this website is a result of my own personal experiences. Eight years ago, at the age of 59, and after extensive research I began a regimented anti-aging program of my own design with very positive results and no adverse affects. At age 67 I am healthy, disease free, (not so much as a sniffle in 8 yrs) energetic, full of vitality, in good physical condition and (many would say) look younger than my age would suggest. This website is a result of my passion for the subject. Not all of the products discussed here are for everyone. Before launching such a program for yourself please consult your doctor.
